Meeting Place International Church (Haarlem)

At Meeting Place, we have the need for someone to come and join our pastoral team on a part-time basis. We are a growing church and although still a fairly small community, we already experience some growing pains, and we would like to remain proactive in our approach and promote teamwork and participation of each member of the body.

We were thinking it would be ideal if we could combine the assistance, we need with a calling for pastoral ministry work to strengthen the ministry in our local church community but also creating a ministry opportunity for growth. The aim is to always keep this a win-win situation.

With that said we are looking for either an individual or family who is willing to relocate to Haarlem, to join our church community and serve them locally. We are open to a part-time arrangement with the candidate or candidate family supporting themselves. The plan is then to compensate based on an allowance for time spent in ministry effort. This will of course be discussed in detail and agreed upon by both parties.

Role description

Currently our greatest needs are in the following areas:

• Children ministry
• Youth ministry
• Pastoral assistance in general
• Administrative activities

A pastoral candidate or pastoral family does not have to relate to all the greatest needs as stated above, but any touch point in terms of passion in ministry will be ideal. Any additional passions, gifts and talents in ministry work is of course very welcome.

The candidate should be able to communicate well in English and should also not have a problem to do ministry work in English.

Finally, if one has a heart for people in general which includes different nationalities from all over the world, then this opportunity is definitely for such a person.
